Accept that humans are innately selfish. Then you’ll be able to accept that people aren’t necessarily doing things “to you” they’re doing something “for themselves”.
& you’ll take people’s wrong doings a lot less personal.
This is not to be confused with a lack of progress. I am so proud of how far I’ve come. I’m doing better than I ever have physically, mentally, financially, spiritually, romantically.
I’ve just come to accept that moving my goal post of what’s “living right” removes complacency
I’ve had a million & one occurrences that made me so fed up with myself that I realize I’m not living right & swear I’m gonna change.
But even if I get to a million & two tomorrow, I’m still giving myself grace for growth.
Thailand changing my sleep schedule was a blessing in disguise. I been up at 5am every day, going to the gym, getting errands out the way, & finishing all my work by 2pm.
