At today’s COP29 World Leaders Climate Action Summit in Baku we reiterated the importance of ongoing collective action to address climate change. The UAE remains committed to working with the international community to build upon the outcomes of previous climate conferences, including the historic UAE Consensus delivered at COP28, towards a more sustainable future for all.

تغير المناخ تحدٍ عالمي خطير لكن يمكن مواجهته والحد منه من خلال العمل الجماعي الدولي، وهذا ما أكدنا عليه اليوم في قمة قادة العالم للعمل المناخي في مؤتمر "كوب 29” في باكو. ودولة الإمارات حريصة على دعم هذا المسار والتعاون مع مختلف الأطراف في العالم لتعزيز العمل المناخي وتنفيذ مخرجات مؤتمرات المناخ وفي مقدمتها "اتفاق الإمارات" التاريخي الناتج عن "كوب 28” من أجل مستقبل أفضل للبشرية.

اختُتمت فترة رئاسة دولة الإمارات لمؤتمر الأطراف COP28، بسجل حافل بالإنجازات العملية والملموسة عبر جميع أهداف العمل المناخي، ويجب على كافة الأطراف خلال COP29 الاستمرار في دفع جهود تنفيذ "اتفاق الإمارات" التاريخي.

علينا مجدداً أن نتحد ونعمل وننجز.
