Consider donating to our "Change for the Future" fundraiser for classroom supplies! The supplies will be going to a school in Eastern Kentucky that was impacted by the flooding. The last day to donate is Oct. 7th. The collection jar is on Shelley's desk in Barnhart.

Congratulations to Dr. Adjuik, who successfully defended his dissertation and has left for his new job as a post-doc in the Agronomy Department at Iowa State University. He will be working on a project investigating biofuel cropping system measure and modeling.

Congratulations to Dr. Toby Adjuik, who successfully passed his Ph.D. defense yesterday! His thesis focused on development of lignin-based hydrogels for improving soil hydraulic properties and as carrier material for the bioencapsulation and release of Rhizobium spp.
