This week is @UCD_SVP annual Homelessness Awareness week.
This year, Homelessness Services have been heavily affected by the CoVID-19 Pandemic. Throughout the pandemic we have been continuing to run our Street Outreach Program to mitigate some of the issues.
For folks who might have not heard it this week, @bankofireland is ending provision of loans for Graduate Entry Medicine in Ireland, the last remaining bank to facilitate this loan. A🧵on Graduate Entry Medicine in Ireland:

Feb homeless report from @DeptHousingIRL shows another welcome fall in family homelessness. The eviction ban is working & must be extended.
But single person homeless has increased again. This is very worrying. Govt must increase number Housing First tenancies ASAP.
President Andrew Deeks will officially launch the UCD Community Engagement Report in his bulletin this afternoon.
