Investigators report rare but life-threatening sequela of ChAdOx1 nCoV vaccination. Five to 16 days after first injection, some patients had symptoms consistent with thrombocytopenia, thromboses, and more. An anti–PF4 antibody capable of platelet activation may be the cause.
