High school visitors & SCIPP researchers participated in the '22 Quarknet Particle Physics Masterclass on 3/5. Students learned about the fundamental forces & particles, analyzed data from the ATLAS experiment at CERN and joined a Zoom w/ researchers from Fermilab & Berkeley Lab.
Cake for the @ATLASexperiment end-of-year party! The design is based on the poster for our ongoing workshop, and features our results on Higgs boson decays to 4 leptons using the data collected 2015-2018 and the New Small Wheel muon detector. #CERN#Higgs#Cake
