No girl should miss school, pause her dreams, or hide in silence because of her period. Unfortunately, millions still do. Access to #safemenstrualhealthproducts isn’t a luxury; it’s dignity, education, and opportunity in every girl’s hands.
In partnership with @smartgirlsug , we engaged with girls,parents and teachers of Mvugu Upper Primary School in #Paidha #ZomboDistrict on menstrual health, dignity, and SRHR.
We distributed 20 #EcoJuaSmartBags equipped with menstrual health products and toolkit to 20 girls as part of the EcoJua SmartBags Post Accelerator Project.

Verse of the day
Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." ✨🙏
Locus mediations are community-based dispute resolution sessions held directly at the site of a conflict. They foster fairness, transparency, and inclusive participation, especially in cases involving land, inheritance, and family disputes. ⚖️
Under the @wecannotwait project, we conducted a locus mediation in Angwet, Lira City, helping four orphaned siblings (including one living with mental illness) reclaim ownership of their late parents’ estate. With the support of @AYINET and clan leaders, the family home, five rental units, unfinished structures, and a large garden were peacefully handed over. The uncle’s sons were given time to harvest crops and vacate by the end of 2025. 🌱
This mediation not only restored justice, it safeguarded dignity, inheritance, and a future of unity for the siblings.

Teenage Pregnancies are finishing all of us. The statistics from Kamuli District, 10-19 old adolescents attending ANC is alarming.
What aren’t we doing right now??
Why are young girls continue to lose their future and dreams ?
We need to take collective action

In Ishongorora, our Key Population Outreach Officer, @24Nabs, held a safe space session with Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) who shared deep challenges, many raising children alone, navigating violence in homes, and struggling to survive. Brenda introduced the idea of forming VSLA groups, and the response was immediate. These young women saw not just a concept, but a lifeline.
At Embibo Gender Initiative, we stand by practical tools that restore control and dignity. Because when young women come together to save, plan, and support one another, they are no longer just waiting for change, they are building it.

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦: Betty’s journey is a powerful testament to the strength it takes to walk away from domestic violence. 💔 Trapped in silence and fear, she believed there was no way out until she found support, legal guidance, and the courage to reclaim her life. Every woman deserves to live in safety, with dignity and freedom from violence. 📷 Read her story here: https://t.co/MnRF0P7I3I.
