@Hon_Gucci Nice... Let me start with the first policy. How many lives has it transformed? Because I'm obviously not seeing vast majority of the Oyo people benefiting from it. Secondly, “planted 50,000 trees..." Wow! I don't know planting trees could attract investors. 😂😂
@idofoi Third highest office!!?? In a well-democratic and presidential country, the leader of the legislative branch of government is the second highest office after the president. The third highest office is the head of the Judiciary, which is the Chief Justice.
This is the first court martial trial for coup since the return of civilian government in Nigeria in 1999. The world awaits to see how this process will play out and the message sent to other prospective coupists across African countries.
These are the names of the 36 serving military personnel to be tried.

After seeing the result of the bar exam and upon commencing preparation for the much awaited call to bar ceremony, the happiness is surreal and unexplainable. At this juncture, you are extremely happy that you wouldn't be going back to any Nigerian Law School campus to resit, and you are getting anxious; you can't wait to be called to the largest bar in Africa as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Congratulations once again. If you are a Nepo kid, this is not for you. This is for those of you who are from humble backgrounds like me. Listen:
Apart from the necessary fees, which must be paid to the Body of Benchers and NBA upon registration, cut your coat according to your size. If you have any of your relatives or friends in Abuja where you can stay for some days to get called, do go for it. It will save you the expenses of the hotel accommodation in Abuja; Abuja is an expensive city oo!!!!!!
Your wig and gown can be bought from anywhere. If you can purchase yours at the rate of 50k at the High Court, Ikeja, or Ilorin, please go for it.
With your 50k wig and gown, you will be getting called with someone who purchased his/her own from Daraz at #500,000. Don't pressure your parents for what is not important at this time. Yes, you need a wig and gown for call to bar. Hence, it is important that you get one( from anywhere),dry clean and rock it well with grace. It doesn't determine your success or otherwise in law practice.
You don't need a new black suit if you have some that you used at the Nigerian Law School. One of the suits you wore at the Nigerian law school dinner should still fit; rock it with grace. For your days in Bwari, there are affordable restaurants you can go to eat. Ask around and save some cash for yourself. If you can't afford bolt/Uber, take commercial vehicles, but make sure you stick to time and don't be late. You are not there to impress anybody especially when you don't have much money.
If you can't afford wig and gown, contact some senior colleagues who could be of help. There should be a way out of raising funds to get them. You can even borrow it from a senior, use it and return it.
Woo, the economy is not smiling at the moment, and we are in hard times. Budgeting #2.5 million for wig and gown, photoshoot, and accommodation when you haven't raised #200k for yourself in the profession is going overboard and extravagant if you are from a humble background. The reality after call to bar is even crazy when sapa hits you during the first 3 weeks after call to bar whilst seeking employment. Sapa no know new wig o!!! Most people won't even believe you don't have money because they believe you have become rich and successful immediately you become a lawyer.
After call to bar, everyone will be left to face his/her own reality and thread a path. The gap between you and the Nepo babies is not the same. It is very wide.
Seboootimo, Elewa Sap'on!!!
Congratulations once again!!!
Rahma cares ✍️ ❤️.
