This has to be one of the best trophies I've seen for a UK homebrew event. If you are in the region and looking for a club, then @lonbrew is a great homebrew club with members regularly earning lots of accolades and happy to share their knowledge.
Every May we hold a club competition around brewing a beer to a single theme or style. The competition is named ‘The Haysenbrau Award’, in honour of our club founder, Ant Hayes, who passed in 2011.
Unfortunately the trophy was lost in 2020.
NEWS FLASH: The UK National is back and will be taking place in February 2023. Start planning your beers and getting your brews on. We'll give you more details on exact dates and venue once we're confirmed those details but we're hopefully staying in Bristol.

SCOTTISH NATIONAL HOMEBREW COMPETITION
The competition is organised and run by the Scottish Craft Brewers.
This year they are expanding the competition to 300 entries and, as per last year, we will be planting enough trees to make it a carbon negative competition.
