We need to accelerate delivery and bring together Defence, industry and innovators to ensure we are ready for the challenges ahead.
DSEI 2027 will be an important opportunity to help do exactly that.
"I'm very excited about DSEI UK!"🗣️

.@UKArmaments will work with industry partners and allies to deliver a Hybrid Navy fit for future warfare.
At least 6 new warships will be built under the DIP, delivering the UK’s most advanced maritime air defence capability and keeping UK shipyards working for decades to come.
What is a Hybrid Navy? It's the #RoyalNavy transition to a more innovative, technologically advanced force which will see our people work seamlessly with uncrewed platforms to meet the threats and challenges of tomorrow.
Productive #FIA2026 with the NADs from US and Spain, @wesstreeting, @LukePollard as well as many industry partners. I also saw great examples of UK innovation such as Kraken’s K3 SCOUT, a first-of-its-kind uncrewed vessel capable of being launched from an A400M in flight.
This comes at a crucial moment for Ukraine and Europe.
The agreement with Sweden shows the impact we can have when we work with allies to support Ukraine. By connecting our manufacturing lines to their frontline, we invest in the UK and help protect Ukraine from Russian attacks.
We are ensuring Ukraine’s courageous Armed Forces can fight now and defend in the future.
Gripen jets will help give Ukraine the air power needed to deter Putin, and our investment in British industry supports thousands of good jobs at home. 🇬🇧 🇺🇦
