Patna, Bihar: State Assembly LoP Tejashwi Yadav has levelled serious allegations against police and the IG of the concerned zone, Vikas Vaibhav, in connection with the murder of the Executive Officer of Dehri. Tejashwi Yadav alleged that the deceased officer's family has raised serious allegations against LJP (Ram Vilas) MLA Sonu Singh from Dehri. He further claimed that since the MLA is associated with Let's Inspire Bihar (LIB), an organisation linked to Vikas Vaibhav, and allegedly funds it, the IG sought to shield the MLA by making the officer's driver an accused in the murder case.

Umendra Kumar Tripathi, Member, Let's Inspire Bihar (LIB), says, "We are deeply hurt by the allegations made by the Leader of the Opposition, especially those targeting our organisation, Let's Inspire Bihar. It has been alleged that the forum, founded by IG Vikas Vaibhav, has political motives and that political considerations could influence the investigation. I want to state clearly that Vikas Vaibhav has always worked above considerations of caste, religion, community and gender. For him, honesty, integrity and dedication are his guiding principles. The initial investigation has already been placed before the public, and an SIT has now been constituted for the further probe..."
