The cost and logistical nightmare of getting a drone ship out there + having to fit landing legs is probably not worth it. Once they're happy with splashdown accuracy they'll just tower land it

@ironted21 @SpaceX If you watch the video you can see it successfully demonstrates a soft water landing, simulating a catch attempt.Obviously as it's out at sea there isn't anything to hold it up,such as a tower, so a thing called gravity causes it to eventually fall over and break apart. Expected.

@RodAnimates I think this is just a bizarre coincidence. Flight 7 was a fire in the attic which took out the engines. Flight 8 was a rapid kinetic failure of one RVAC engine which took out others next to it.
