Is not the point of trigger warnings to allow students the time and space to employ their coping strategies? If they don't have coping strategies, why not?
Yet another article out disparaging trigger warnings. One question I have about these: why don't they ever ask if students felt better able to cope rather than the supposed gotcha "did you still have negative feelings?"
