I REALLY like this cover because we so rarely see JRโs work rendered three dimensionally with a painterly approach. Itโs a striking take that feels unique.
But, it would also be pretty stunning colored like he is more often - like ASM 600 pictured here.
@retro_1999 Definitely find his modern work is underrated. My favourite era of JRJR's art will always be the early 2000s during the JMS run but his modern stuff is pretty phenomenal too imo.

JRJR doing this with the last few pages of issue 58 and then this for the cover of 59 was so damn cool. This is the kinda stuff I wish MORE artist would do. Super cool and innovative for story telling imo.
