After Stafford and Cernan completed their descent toward the Moon in 1969, the Apollo 10 Lunar Module (LM) "Snoopy" was jettisoned. Snoopy is unique in that it ended up in an orbit around the Sun. The rest of the flown LMs crashed into the Moon or burned up in Earth's atmosphere.
