We need to correct some misinformation floating around campus. We didn’t take power away from the faculty senate. They never had any power.

The Chancellor's response is disappointing. Instead of taking responsibility and acknowledging the lack of trust in leadership, he chose to downplay the vote. The voting members were required to be present for the duration of the vote, even if they had class. #UNCG #SaveTheG

The motion of no confidence in Provost Storrs passed.
181 in favor and 158 against.

We are so proud of our faculty for ensuring their voices were heard.

If these people were actually part of "the UNCG community," they wouldn't be talking about "efficiencies," "reinvesting strategically," and so forth.

He's right though: the provost doesn't stand alone. She stands with an expanding layer of bureaucrats destroying the university.
