We seem to pay an awful lot of tax here in GB. Now we find how underfunded our health and social care services have been. I hope a future investigation explains where this taxation income has gone.
One wish - we value carers and caring, many are looking after the most vulnerable but how well are they valued - as family, friends, partners, volunteers and paid workers. Governments have made mistakes but we've accepted caring to be undervalued, under-resourced and underpaid.
We are all affected by COVID 19 but some of our most vulnerable communities and groups much more than others. Many of these rely on social care and are economically disadvantaged. I am really worried.
