It’s been #3YearsTooLong. A brutal civil war that’s left communities across #Sudan utterly devastated.
Civilians are still being killed. The healthcare system has largely collapsed. Extreme poverty is rapidly increasing. And we’re witnessing the world's largest displacement and hunger crisis, with +24 million people facing acute food insecurity.
Enough. Let’s not allow this to be an abandoned crisis.
The international community must urgently step up support – to help find the solutions needed to end this conflict, protect civilians, and avert a further humanitarian catastrophe.
