One thing we have to do while working at the police department is to get our "official" photos made. Well, Clover is official now. Enjoy the outtakes! (video has instrumental music but no other sound)
The staff at @UNTFacilities has a salsa contest that ended with 3 winners and a lot of flavor. One of my favorite things about UNT is that our staff members work hard, but they also know the importance of having fun -- and eating good food.
I love it when I see fun competition. Recently @UNTtransit challenged @UNTPolice to a chili cook-off competition. It was all in good fun, though a UNT Police corporal walked away with the trophy so I guess we know which department has the best chili.
Did you know that UNT offers resources to support students who are parents? Such as: "Stork Parking" for new and expectant parents supported by our @UNTtransit department and the map below that outlines child-friendly spaces on campus. Find the map here: https://t.co/XnI78B0YzW
We recently celebrated Senior Executive Assistant Gylynn Hanson for her win of Building Representative of the Year by @UNTFacilities. She does a great job in keeping our building occupants informed and deserved this nice recognition.
Each semester I take pizza to the night staff members who work to keep UNT safe and clean. This week, we celebrated late night dinners with @UNTtransit, @UNTPolice and @UNTFacilities. I appreciate their dedication.
Earlier this month, our outstanding Work Control group in the @UNTFacilities department was honored as an Outstanding Department. Just this semester alone, they've closed more than 4,500 work orders. They help keep our service tickets organized and on track.
Congratulations are in order for our @UNTFacilities department for raising $1,600 for the State Employee Charitable Campaign and selling some tasty treats. This annual campaign supports a variety of organizations through donations by state employees. https://t.co/lwUXH2nuTD
Yesterday's crisp fall day was perfect for our division picnic. Our Facilities' Grounds team won the cornhole tournament. We choose 3 winners out of 14 entrants in our dessert contest. It's so important to make time to appreciate each other and take a moment to re-charge.
This was the best meeting all week! Thank you #UNT comfort puppy Clover and @UNTPolice for stopping by. I am looking forward to the positive impact she will have on our campus.
There's a quote in this story about making friends for life - something I've heard from other alumni at UNT. This is truly a great place to support your future, come to UNT for your professional development and stay friends for life with those you meet.
In 1992, a group of alumni met for a reunion and buried a time capsule on campus grounds. @UNTFacilities found the plastic box – and it opened up lots of memories for the Wild Women who were behind many shenanigans on campus.

Please join us in welcoming Clover!! We will be getting Clover this week but she still needs her puppy vaccinations to keep her healthy and some obedience training. We are hoping to have her out in the community the week of Homecoming or soon afterward!
We have a new system in place at Willis Library to make filing Service Requests easier! All bathrooms in the building now have QR codes that, when scanned, allow you to file a Service Request for issues in that bathroom. Next time you need our maintenance team, give it a scan!
UNT's parking and transportation department, @UNTtransit, won our division's food drive contest earlier this year by donating more than 2,000 items to the student food pantry on campus. To celebrate their efforts, I treated their team to pizza and cookies.
It’s #NationalDogDay, #UNT! It was a pleasure to speak with @UNTPolice and learn more about their work for our students and campus community. Plus, I got a chance to pet K-9 Officer Watson! A great way to start the week.
I’ve enjoyed meeting so many of you as we dive into the fall semester together and I’m so proud to be part of the Mean Green Family. I can’t wait to see all we’ll accomplish. Watch my video and #GoMeanGreen!

K-9 Keegan was our explosives detection dog for 6 years, and he was so good at it that we got the idea to travel back in time to find a younger version of him. Introducing.... K-9 Watson! Nearly identical to Keegan and ready to serve campus at football games & big events.
