After losing 12 members of his family to Ebola, Justin Singo Nguma, a 40-year-old father of four from Bunia, made a life-saving decision; when he developed symptoms, he sought care immediately.

Today, he is a survivor and an advocate in his community. “I am living proof that people can recover in Ebola treatment centres.”

While immense challenges remain in the #Ebola response, every recovery is a victory.

As per the official figures of DRC, there have been 583 recoveries out of 3262 confirmed cases.

The October 2025 ceasefire has led to measurable gains in humanitarian access and overall conditions across the Gaza Strip, yet the situation remains deeply fragile.

The entire Strip is classified in Crisis (IPC Phase 3), and 1.4 million people are expected to face high levels of acute food insecurity through December 2026, up from 1.2 million in the mid-April–June 2026 period.
