Today, I met with Local Government Transition Chairmen, Ministries of Agriculture, Local Government Affairs, and other relevant agencies to discuss the timely and transparent distribution of palliatives provided by the federal and state governments.

We aim to cushion the current hardship faced by our citizens. We've received 24,000 25 kg bags of rice from the federal government, and the state has added another 24,000 bags, making it a total of 48,000 bags.

Each recognized village in the state will receive 20 bags. Distribution starts on Friday, July 26th. Let's ensure fairness in this process. God bless Akwa Ibom.
