The 56th GASC and the 45th KASAMA sa UP National Congress took place in The University of the Philippines Visayas - Miagao, from February 5-7 and February 8-10, respectively.

The delegates who represented the UP CVMSC were Vice Chairperson Anuat and Councilor Delminguez.

We commemorate the lives of our volunteer Lumad school teachers and environmental defenders Chad Booc and Gelejurain "Jurain '' Ngujo II, community health worker Elegyn Balonga and their accompanying drivers Tirso Añar and Robert Aragon collectively known as New Bataan 5.

[RESIGNATION OF COUNCILOR BADGETTE]

The UP CVMSC Councilor Esther Grace Badgette filed a formal letter requesting for a leave of absence last January 2024 due to personal reasons.

After thorough deliberation, the UP CVMSC along with Councilor Badgette concluded to file for her resignation instead. With this, the UP CVMSC unanimously agreed to approve Councilor Badgette's resignation as a Councilor and Community Rights and Welfare Committee Head.
