I have always found it very difficult to understood the philosophical underpinnings of self-proclaimed "conservative" NeverTrumpers.

No President in the history of the USA has done more to reduce the size, scope and power of the federal administrative state than Donald Trump.

Other than Ronald Reagan, no President in any of our lifetimes has done more to promote capital investment, industrial growth, and improved economic standards for the average American than Donald Trump.

Other than Ronald Reagan and JFK, no President in any of our lifetimes has done more to promote American patriotism and pride in America than Donald Trump.

No President in any of our lifetimes has done more to promote freedom of speech and freedom of religion than Donald Trump.

Last time I checked, the bedrock principles of American conservatism are limited government, capitalism, patriotism and liberty.

Donald Trump's policies are the very essence of conservatism.

So why are these people "NeverTrumpers"?

My theory is that they see conservatism as a club: a club whose entry credentials consist of elite prep schools, Ivy League universities, the "prestige" of being part of old-line institutions and media, and well-manicured pinkies in the air at afternoon tea.

And they don’t want Donald Trump in their club.

Donald Trump is none of what they are. He is from Queens. He has the wrong accent. He went to the wrong schools. He is crass and loud and bombastic. Although wealthy by birth, nothing pleases him more than getting down in the dirt with the workers who built his buildings. Despite his wealth, he is the everyman at heart.

There is only one logical conclusion: NeverTrumpers do not care the slightest about actual political conservatism. They care about being elite snobs, which is why they sacrifice whatever values they once proclaimed to hold so they could hate on someone who crashed the gate at their posh, private club.

They are Judge Smails and Trump is Al Czervik.

This is about social class and nothing else.

Treat those people with the righteous disdain they have so completely earned.

I approached you respectfully at the airport, extending my hand & introducing myself.

We were at the ticket gate with literally dozens of witnesses — passengers inches away.

Despite a quib reply back from you, I kept things professional & focused on the SAVE America Act.

While I respect that you say you want to ensure wins this November, I speak for millions when I say that voters will be more likely to vote upon the passage of the SAVE America Act.

Voters see what’s happening in California & wonder why our Senate isn’t doing everything in its power to secure our elections.

Did you know that former Congresswoman Michelle Steel (R-CA) lost by 653 votes in 2024? Did you know that former Congressman John Duarte (R-CA) lost by 187 votes?

I have no doubt that the SAVE America Act would have prevented these losses.

Why are we normalizing an expectation for California to count votes for weeks after Election Day — like Spencer Pratt’s election.

How can Americans have confidence in our elections & how are Americans going to be inspired to vote if you don’t legislate as the majority?

Last — & I mean this with the utmost of respect — for the $150 million that was spent on the Texas Senate primary/runoff,

we could have built massive voter registration/get out the vote operations in every single swing state.

While I understand it might be difficult to contemplate an American citizen doing this work because it’s the right thing to do, I’m proud to say that I don’t take PAC $ — not even from my own organization.

I can’t be bought, which frustrates the political establishment.

My one singular mission is doing right by the American people and delivering legislative wins that the popular vote delivered in 2024.

I’m on the way to the Texas GOP Convention to help ensure all of our Republican candidates win this November — I hope you’ll do the same.

🚨This is what happens when somebody hears a short clip and runs with it.

This morning on the Brian Thomas Morning Show on 55KRC – I am with Brian Friday morning’s at 8:30AM –I said AI and big data centers are here to stay. We’re not going back – pretending we are is reminiscent of buggy and whip makers in the early 1900s squawking about better wheels, whips and more horses.

At the same time, we have real problems to sort out — how much power data centers pull, what they do to water, what they cost Ohio taxpayers, and how that affects our communities.

I also said Ohio has an edge a lot of states don’t -- the General Assembly passed laws that let worksites build their own power on site. Including mini nuclear reactors.

Yes, I pointed out what’s documented: China’s state news has been running stories blaming American data centers for higher electric bills and other nefarious outcomes while they race ahead on their own.

Instead of dealing with any of that, a snippet of a 30-minute interview was passed around, and we ended up with a “poll” asking people if they’re part of a Chinese propaganda campaign just for having questions or objections.

Then the comments started flying — calling me a Peter Thiel plant and this or that, saying I’m carrying water for somebody…you know, the usual low-information, vitriolic reactions.

These data centers and AI setups are not simple. It’s bigger than “not in my backyard” and it’s bigger than just “where do we get the power?”

There’s a whole mix of energy, costs, local effects, competition with China, and what actual rules should look like. That stuff deserves a real conversation, not “poll” that – let’s face it –doesn’t seem to be designed to gather opinions as much as to ignite reactions to what the poll author perceives to be an opposing view.

I do this for a living, not a hobby. I spend my time reading the bills and the reports before I open my mouth.

I don’t just repeat what somebody hands me or what “sponsors” want me to say. When people act like I haven’t thought it through or I’m just repeating talking points, it usually shows how much time they spent looking into the matter.

We can argue about the right way to handle these facilities. We should. But we ought to do it with the full story, full consideration and intellectual honesty instead of a short clip and a “poll” meant to get everybody riled up. That’s how you actually get somewhere instead of just more division.

Some of you may remember my extensive investigative reporting on the Paxton impeachment.

During David Maxwell’s testimony, he openly bragged about his ability to throw off cross examiners and even grinned while admitting he committed perjury before the House General Investigating Committee. This wasn’t alleged. It happened. You can hear it yourself in the 2023 video I’m quoting here.

Shortly afterward, Chip Roy posted in support of him. His “friend” had just admitted to playing games with cross examiners, lying, and dodging questions on the stand.

But he was Chip’s friend, so Chip stood with him anyway.

There are things from the past that need to be brought back up because some of you are forgetting. And in this case, it doesn’t matter whether you like Ken Paxton or not.

I don’t want political leaders who defend wrongdoing simply because the person involved is their personal friend… and throw integrity out the window.

Do with this information what you will. I’m just making sure you have all of it.

Amanpour embeded as a correspondent during the Gulf War. To accommodate the press, the Pentagon assigned journalists the ADMINISTRATIVE rank of major for access and billeting arrangements. Nothing more.

In her attack on Pete, she equates his rank to hers.

From a vet’s perspective, that’s revolting and untrue. @amanpour couldn’t carry Pete’s sweat-stained boot socks much less the responsibility of leading men in combat. To portend to do so is both insulting and illustrative.

Yesterday, Daesha Smartt tried to kill another inmate inside of the Hamilton County Justice Center, or “JC.” That’s what we call our jail.

This did not happen on the street…it happened in a controlled facility—locked doors, cameras, Deputies everywhere…and still, one inmate tried to kill another inmate.

Alright…let’s move to Courtroom A with Judge Samantha Silverstein for Daesha Smartt’s bond hearing…

10% of a $2,500 bond—and 10% of a $5,000 bond…for Felonious Assault and Attempt.

Just breeze on out of the door for $750.

Judge Samantha Silverstein looked at that…inside a jail…where there are no variables, no excuses…and decided the risk was manageable.

For seven hundred and fifty dollars.

And here’s where it gets uncomfortable…

We were told two years ago—that certain Judges were quietly coordinating lower bond amounts…keeping them within a range that groups like The Bail Project could step in and cover.

So here’s just one more example of why Judge Sammi is unfit to wear that robe.

Here’s a violent felony…inside a jail…with a bond that fits neatly into that same range.

Riddle me this Judge Sammi…if someone is willing to escalate to that level inside of a jail…what exactly are we pretending changes once they’re back out here on the street?

Seven hundred and fifty dollars…that’s the number that allows a repeat violent offender back out on the streets—and in our neighborhoods.

And it’s all by design.
