The three alliance books are best accompanied by excellent recent research focusing on NATO, such as @timsayle "Enduring Alliance", @SethAJohnston "How NATO adapts", or Heidi Hardt's "NATO's lessons". @thierrytardy's volume also looks brilliant (albeit super expensive) (4)
