My wife is searching for an agent for her 2nd book, The Strange Case of Theda Vermaak, a fantastic sci-fi story I can't wait to hold in my hands. But her award-winning 1st book, Children of Cain, is still available in Kindle & print. https://t.co/h8RUmuQJXv
@CynicalPublius I "saved" an Iranian attaché from hell (his words) because he was accidentally served pork. I told him before he ate a bite. People told me I should have let him eat it. I guess I'm too Catholic.
Wife & I are discussing this now. Difficult.

@JamesSurowiecki@infantrydort All he needs is a) American citizenship and b) Senate confirmation. No other credential(s) needed. The fact he was an infantryman is simply a bonus. Even better? He wasn't a politician, and by politician I mean flag officer.
@JoshPhillipsPhD I used this method with language learning. Lots of listening while reading books. Then as I got better, tv shows with same language subtitles. Sure helped.
@WalshFreedom Every state allows absentee to be counted as long as they are postmarked by Election Day. How do those other states manage to count them quicker? They know how many ballots were sent out & if not statistically possible to change the outcome they declare.
@infantrydort It's unfortunately a requirement in many fields or for many jobs like, just grabbing one at random here, commissioned military officer. 😆
