After 39 years of service to our Nation, I am retiring from the @USArmy. Today, I passed the @USARPAC colors to my successor, GEN Ronald Clark during the USARPAC Change of Command ceremony. As I reflect on my decades of service, I am filled with gratitude and pride. It is my highest honor to serve with, alongside, and for the finest men and women of our country. I will forever cherish the purpose, mission, and people of this great Army. I will treasure the friendships I have made across the Pacific and the lessons that will stay with me for the rest of my life. As I embark on a new chapter, I want to express my deepest appreciation to all those who have supported me throughout my career – and the list is truly so vast I cannot hope to name them all. Your guidance, encouragement, and camaraderie have been invaluable, and I am grateful for each one of you. I am so proud of what we have accomplished – together – over the last 3+ years and I am confident that this Theater Army will continue to contribute to a Free and Open Indo-Pacific with our Allies and Partners. Thank you again for your support – I am grateful for the opportunity to have played but a small role as a Soldier protecting our freedoms and way of life in this great Nation. “ONE TEAM!”
