If his 2020 supporters choose not to read the rest of this thread, tell me 1 thing. Why does he not support abolishing the filibuster? In order to pass M4A, we HAVE to abolish the filibuster or it WILL NEVER HAPPEN. His refusal to do this reeks of being a creature of the Senate.

Bernie has been in DC as a senior member of the most powerful governing body in the country for nearly 30 YEARS. He has been there through multiple Presidents from both parties, and whilst he has consistently said the right thing - what has he actually achieved in all that time?

Why was he one of the LAST candidates to release a climate plan, and only after a lot of pressure. Even AOC endorsed another candidate's plan, Jay Inslee, calling it the ‘gold standard’. Literally the day after Inslee DROPS OUT, Bernie FINALLY & sheepishly releases his own plan

But as Inslee pointed out, BS continues to reiterate his refusal to abolish the filibuster despite progressives like @PODSaveAmerica & @IndivisibleTeam urging him to do so. He knows it would be IMPOSSIBLE to pass either M4A or the GND with it, so he never has to follow through:
