The Penn basketball program is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Hall of Fame alum Keven McDonald.

McDonald, who played at Penn from 1974-78, was the Ivy League Player of the Year in 1977-78 and Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Year in 1976-77.

Our thoughts are with his friends and family in this difficult time.

A fitting tribute for one of CSC's finest. ❤️

Some connections go beyond the game 🤝

A special moment for the Collins family, Illinois State Basketball, and Northwestern Basketball on Sunday as Doug Collins sat courtside to watch his alma mater face his son, the head coach of Northwestern.

A rare honor for an SID. A totally deserved honor. There were stretches of time when Kenny was the glue keeping the Louisville athletic department together. He's missed every day.

He spent his career celebrating Louisville’s legends. Now, he’ll take his rightful place among them.

On Jan. 2, we’ll honor Kenny Klein with a permanent place in the rafters of the KFC Yum! Center. We love you, Kenny. ❤️

The Red Storm’s new point guard Quinn Ellis guided the Johnnies to the win with 13 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds — all while committing just 1 turnover. Keyshawn Hall and Ian Jackson each scored 24 in the victory.

For the third straight year, @kayla_karius and @gbphoenixwbb hosted their Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Game, known as “Macklin’s Game,” honoring Karius’ son, Macklin, who passed away in 2021.

This year, players wore jerseys bearing the names of children gone too soon, bringing together 15 other families who have experienced the loss of a child to remind them they’re not alone. ❤️❤️

Both us and Northwestern will have an extra coach for a half tomorrow 👀

Doug Collins will serve as an honorary coach for the Redbirds during the first half of tomorrow’s exhibition, and will switch to serve as honorary coach for Northwestern during the second half.
