@ChrisPughUSF It needs to go as the main chant, it’s barely better than chanting U-S-F, literally any school can spell itself out. Its a horrible main chants it’s fine to haves needs to go as the go to is what I meant

Gonna get some hate for this but I don’t care. This chant sucks, everything except go bulls needs to go b4 this stadium. Our traditions are horrible, and outside cheerleaders not 1 undergrad knows fight song or Alma matter. New stadium deserves better

@ChrisPughUSF Not saying we should change it and all schools have it, I just only have even heard of those 3 things, when I think of college football in Florida I think of the gator chomp, the FSU chop, going to those games they have way more things going on then just spelling the schools name

@TheUSFWizard Not saying take it away, lots of teams have bad chants, but somebody at beefstuds or soflo rodeo can come up with something better, and when something better comes it’ll replace it as the main chant because I never met a student that liked it, students drive the culture

@TheUSFWizard Not denying it has existed for a while, but spelling your schools name does not compete with the traditions of other schools. Obviously a full stadium chanting it is cool that’s literally anything, doesn’t negate that it’s a bad chant

@ChrisPughUSF Listen I just graduated, but I was a pretty active student in Greek life, and was pretty involved on campus, I met less than 10 people that knew that stuff and they were all affiliated with soflo rodeo or beef studs

Doesn’t matter what brand alignment they do, if you ask any normal undergrad they say usf and you ask anyone not from Florida they say usf and get us confused w C, usf needs to actually win and move up athletically to get separated not a branding issue

@BasesOnBulls Fair, in defense, I think most people that actually watched usf the last 4 years knew Golesh wasn’t a good coach. Good recruiter ($) maybe, but his best “coaching” was gimmicky that was mostly figured out after year 1, nothing screamed elite tactician, j elite running qb + pieces

@BasesOnBulls See I get your thinking, but by the same logic, one player in basketball can make a way bigger difference than in football. Like you could put basically any NBA number 1 option in cbb and they contenders, same thing doesn’t apply to nfl, maybe even w qbs

@BasesOnBulls Way higher expectations but Fred vanvleet was out the whole year. Not saying he’s an all star, but they were running without a point guard on the roster in year 1. Kevin Durant also isn’t a Jaylen Brown, he’s still the best player on the court 95% of the time by a wide margin

@BasesOnBulls Yea it’s fine, but the timeline of the team is confusing to me with booker, and what you do payment wise. It’s certainly not a bad trade, but it’s not a fleece in the way like the nets KG Paul Pierce trade was.
