If you're heading to a protest tomorrow, it's important to know your rights. Consult this information from the ACLU.
Be peaceful. Be safe. Be careful. Be strong.
Road trip wrap-up! Shout out to the facilities we haven’t yet shared: Federal Center in Lakewood, Co.; SSA and VA in Aurora, Co.; and EPA in Kansas City, Mo. We stand with federal workers!
We couldn’t pass up visiting Bryce Canyon while driving across these beautiful lands. DOGE laid off thousands of National Park Service workers who keep our parks operating efficiently and safely. We have their backs!
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is experiencing a major shift as DOGE closes more than a dozen offices. The agency is responsible for administering over 245 million acres of public lands. We shone a light on BLM in Lakewood, Co., this weekend to show our support.
We stopped by the Social Security office in Aurora, Co., to highlight the thousands of workers at the federal agency and the millions of recipients they serve. #DOGE wants to close 47 SSA offices across the country.
The Bat Light is making one more stop in Kansas City at the VA Medical Center. The Veterans Health Administration serves more than 9 million veterans at more than 1,300 facilities. There is no way cutting this workforce honors their sacrifice or service to our nation.
The USW Bat Light is in Kansas City shining a light on the USDA. This agency’s workers do vital food & agricultural economic research that keeps us safe and helps local farmers survive.
Road trip! The USW Bat Light is going cross country to spotlight the vital services federal workers provide – and the threats the administration’s cuts pose to all Americans. Make sure to follow us to see where we end up!
The strength of our democracy depends on counting every vote. And with more than 100,000 PA votes still to be counted, we must respect the process—no matter how long it takes. @AFLCIO
One of the great tragedies of this grueling election season has been the way in which key figures sought to divide working Americans against each other, be it along the lines of gender, race, occupation or country of origin. Now more than ever, Americans must come together.
THREAD: The Lincoln Project accepts that America has voted to re-elect Donald Trump on his victory. We believe in this democracy and in the peaceful transfer of power when the voters have spoken.
A template text for your campaign friends:
Thank you so much for everything you did.
Can I buy you a drink? Can I help you move?
No need to respond right now, just want you to know I’m thinking of you.
**Do not ask what happened. It’s not the day. Neither is Thanksgiving.
"The labor movement is the army to join. It is a weakened but still potent army that you can help to revive. And it has a power—labor power—that no other group does."

I had hoped the sun break through the clouds before sunrise this morning in #Pittsburgh, but looks like our run of colorful sunrises came to an end. So here's a few from Monday morning, with the trees on the West End Overlook lit up bright red from the rising sun.
Pennsylvania, we will decide the outcome of this election.
The future of democracy and freedom rests in our hands.
Let's get out and vote because our lives depend on it.
Pennsylvania can win this election for America. Grateful for the chance to talk to folks at Capitol Diner in Harrisburg and thank them for helping to get the job done.
