📢 More than $139M worth of illegal drugs seized, twenty-one individuals charged with 102 offences combined.
This intelligence-led joint forces investigation focused on disrupting the importation and trafficking of illegal drugs and firearms with a nexus to the international border, resulting in the seizure of nearly 1.7 tonnes of illegal drugs, including suspected cocaine, methamphetamine and opium.
In January 2025, @WindsorPolice (WPS) initiated a drug-trafficking investigation, collaborating with @CanBorder (CBSA) to advance the operation and identify the cross-border network used for the importation of illegal drugs into Canada. The #OPP and law enforcement partners provided critical support of the cross-border and interprovincial components of the investigation.
On June 25, 2026, 18 search warrants were executed by:
• OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau
• WPS
• WPS Emergency Services Unit

Today, Ambassador Greer is taking action, at President Trump’s direction, under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 by imposing tariffs on 60 trading partners for their failure to adopt and effectively enforce a prohibition on the importation of goods produced with forced labor.

PRESIDENT TRUMP IS MAKING AMERICA SAFE AGAIN!
In H1 2026 (compared to H1 2025):
Homicides⬇️18%
Robberies ⬇️ 17%
Carjackings⬇️47%
Gun assaults⬇️6%
Residential burglaries⬇️13%
🚨REMINDER: The nearly 20% YoY drop in homicides comes despite the murder rate reaching its lowest level since at least 1900 in 2025.
We sincerely thank our American neighbours for their valuable assistance. Firefighters and specialists from the #UnitedStates have been mobilized since last week in #Quebec to support efforts to combat wildfires.
Today, our nation pauses to honor four American heroes. 🇺🇸❤️
We lift their families in prayer, give thanks for their service to our country, and mourn alongside them.
God bless our fallen heroes, and may God bless the United States of America.
"The Canada tariffs, are those a response to the wildfires?"
@POTUS: "No. That's separate... It's only a response to the way they have treated our farmers and our people. Canada's been very, very tough on us over the years... and no other president's done anything about it."
“Over the past year and a half, only two countries have chosen to retaliate against President Trump’s tariffs rather than negotiate a deal with the United States: the People’s Republic of China and Canada.“
.@USTradeRep Ambassador Greer explains the tariffs on a set of Canadian imports: "They banned the sale of U.S. liquor and other booze on Canadian shelves. They capped and limited the amount of autos that could be shipped [from] the United States from companies who were reshoring to the U.S., and they also continue to maintain limited space to market access for U.S. dairy ... and so it was a natural consequence, after a year of these measures being in place... for @POTUS to take action."
Canada imposed an unfair tariff scheme on American cars. As a result, Canadian imports of U.S. cars fell ~22%, costing American industry BILLIONS.
President Trump won't put up with Canada's trade schemes. The U.S. will levy a 50% TARIFF on some Canadian products. 🇺🇸
“Each Section 338 proclamation imposes a 50% tariff on a different set of Canadian imports, covering products ranging from wine to hockey sticks to cement.
These Section 338 tariffs apply to all covered goods regardless of whether a good originates under the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
These Section 338 tariffs will not apply to energy, potash, products subject to tariffs under Section 232, and certain other goods, such as fish or critical minerals.”
Canada has maintained pervasive, non-reciprocal trade practices that have disadvantaged American farmers, manufacturers, and workers.
For example: All but two Canadian provinces and territories have halted the purchase, distribution, or retailing of U.S. alcoholic beverages and have not imposed similar restrictions on other countries.
From March 2025 through February 2026, Canadian imports of U.S. alcoholic beverages decreased by about 81% compared to the same period in 2024-2025.
Today, Ambassador Greer issued a statement after President Trump exercised his authority under Section 338 of the Tariff Act of 1930 to impose additional 50% tariffs on certain Canadian goods to offset Canada’s discriminatory treatment of U.S. exports.

Honored to be at the World Cup Final alongside the leaders of all three host countries, President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, President Sheinbaum, and Prime Minister Carney and Diana Fox Carney, as well as Lakshmi Mittal and FIFA President Gianni Infantino. Thank you for an incredible month of soccer across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
An EPIC @FIFAWorldCup in America comes to a close with President Donald J. Trump crowning the champions. 🏆📸
The world came to watch, and America delivered. See you next time, FIFA ? 👀
On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins, the crew of Apollo 11, showed the world that America can undertake and achieve the near-impossible. The pioneers and heroes of that era inspired generations of astronauts, pilots, explorers, engineers, scientists, and technicians, many of whom now show up to work each day at @NASA and across the most technologically advanced aerospace industry on Earth.
President Reagan called for our return to the Moon, but @POTUS gave us Artemis, the National Space Policy, and the resources in the Working Family Tax Cut Act. Now the best and brightest across YOUR space agency, alongside industry and our international partners, will deliver.
America is going back. We will fulfill Gene Cernan's immortal words from Apollo 17: "God willing, as we shall return, with peace and hope for all mankind." Artemis III is up next in 2027. Artemis IV lands in 2028. The Moon Base project is already underway...and America will never give up the Moon again.
