The amendment to SB 146, which provides a standing prescription for glucagon to Utah schools, as well as an annual training for a volunteer school staff member on emergency use of glucagon kits, has been signed by Governor Cox!
It now only needs Governor Coxโs signature to become law!

Every Friday for the summer season we will have a short post talking about the fight for affordable insulin! Did you know since 1996 the cost of insulin has gone from $21 to $275? Thatโs a 1200% increase!
The cost to make insulin, however, has only risen from around $3 to around $6. These kinds of numbers ahow how essential the fight for affordable insulin is!
