@AaronDMartin2@nickbateman33 Distance would matter only if u were so far away that you couldn’t see the ball’s position compared to the post. But you’d have to be thousands of yards away for that. Here u can see it, and it went left.
@TommyBombadill0@Andrewd62d5@HokieWill540 Dude that video was taken by a VT fan… do u honestly believe a VT fan is posting a fake AI video of them missing? Seriously? And again even most of the major VT fan accounts have conceded he missed it and r moving onto the more egregious ref misses like the int call
@markahaden@Andrewd62d5@HokieWill540 honestly i’d be more mad about the int call in the 2nd. contested possession like that should always always go to the offense.
@TommyBombadill0@Andrewd62d5@HokieWill540 I aspire to be as delusional about my team as you are. Dude it went left there’s like 4 other fan videos from this side showing that.
@ScottG305@jg9188@zd4792@espn honestly it just shows the lack of trust we have in refs. like acc at least gave itself more accountability with the replay center that other conferences r starting to do. gotta do more in other areas, particularly as gambling makes people suspicious
@irishdraft54@BFWshow so no that’s not how that works. Yes having the correct angle is everything hence why the ref stands underneath so they always have the direct view from kick to the plane of the posts. and that “opposite angle” is band kids on the left sad cus it missed.
@ReillyHolmes3@CaptainCons Can you explain why? This angle looks nearly directly behind the kick and minimizes the appearance of left and right motion. You want the kick angle to look as 1 dimensional as possible so you can see definitively whether that angle runs through the valid kick zone
