You know what kills your site performance?
Rendering 3000px of content when the user can only see 900px. And there is an easy fix for that.
It's a magical CSS property
content-visibility: auto.
@tim_tyler@MentalAmmo@SecWar@realMAG1775 National Security Act of 1947 legally defined the Department of Defense replacing the Department of War. It will take a new law to change it. An EO will not do it.
@ChebzReal@MentalAmmo@SecWar@realMAG1775 National Security Act of 1947 legally defined the Department of Defense. It will take a new law to change it. Claude is factually correct.
@jebbyo@GrantrGregory@LongTimeHistory 1. These people are U.S. citizens so your question isn't even relevant here. 2. Yes. Constitutional rights protect everyone subject to the laws of the United States. That includes immigrants of any status. The only people it doesn't apply to are diplomats.
@avideomakr @MyLordBebo Sound works differently under water. You cannot tell the direction from which a sound is coming because it travels faster. It sounds like it’s everywhere. It isn’t impossible to triangulate but in situations like this you would be too panicked to be able to tell.
I often remember this quote from Battlestar Galactica:
"There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state. The other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people."
@novartis2012@acnewsitics See Luke 4:18–19, Matthew 5:3–11, Matthew 21:12–13, John 4:7–26, Luke 10:25–37, Matthew 8:5–13, John 8:1–11, Luke 7:36–50, Matthew 9:10–13, Mark 10:13–16, Matthew 23, Luke 6:20–26, Mark 12:30–31
@novartis2012@acnewsitics Oh how you are wrong.
1. Jesus and his family fled a lawful order to put him to death by Herod. 2. They fled to Egypt, thus making them both a migrant and immigrant. Legality unknown. 3) Christ advocated for the outcast, the poor, the marginalized, which is absolutely woke.
@Uebok_Rebuke@raiseapareo Comic Books are almost exclusively printed in Canada, except for small press books, and trades from Canada or China.
The average comic book doesn’t retain its value. Unless it’s a key at the current cover price it will depreciate quickly.
