🗳️ THE VOTERS’ ROLL RETURNS TO THE REGISTRY OFFICE
From 1980, following #Zimbabwe’s Independence, up to 2013, the voters’ roll was under the responsibility of the Registrar-General’s Department
For the past 13 years, from 2013 to 2026, it has been administered by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC).
Following the enactment of Constitutional Amendment Act No. 3, the voters’ roll is now being moved back to the Registrar-General’s Department.
The Registry Office knows what is required by law and has the institutional experience of running, maintaining and updating the voters’ roll.
The Registrar-General’s Department is ready for the responsibility.

Hanging around politicians & wearing scarfs does not make u competent either in internal Zanu PF politics. @nickmangwana Can u help us understand why & how Felistas Murata & boyfriend allegedly arrived from the US, skipped the quarantine process & started gallivanting from radio station to the next doing silly interviews. Is the SI issued in respect of the new Covid-19 situation really effective?
@Quantumleeping@TumishoMasha U seem to enjoy making fun of Z'weans dont u? U just don't appreciate or u r unaware of the significant contributions that Z'weans make in SA across all sectors of its economy. U make it seem like there r no SAns scattered across the globe yet there r millions upon millions.
@daddyhope I stand to be corrected, but my fresh legal mind thinks the right to legitimate expectation shld apply as a remedy in respect of those Zimbabweans whose permits have been renewed maybe twice or thrice. It of course as to be contextualised in terms of the laws of the South Africa.
@JusticeMayorW Nice ride. Inspirational. No issues with yo source of wealth. Hope that u have been responsible & exemplary enuff to settle your obligations with ZIMRA ie import duties. Last time u abused yo parliamentary privilege to bring in that yellow beast and paid no duty for it.
