Supergirl was super-mid.
It seems to have everything you expect from a superhero origin story and yet nothing seems to work in its favor.
Only positive was of course the beautiful audio-visual experience at AMB's HDR by Barco screen. Insane colour contrast and black levels!
@jain_ravindra2@nirmalansun@sardesairajdeep The problem is thinking that idealogy is more important than kids' nutrition and health. Eggs are cheapest and still a better source of protein.
I think it's wrong to say that TFI audience is supporting Samantha for MIB. People are selfish and just want to be entertained, regardless of who the actor is. And as long the content is good and ticket prices are in check they will show up at the theaters.
The RAC system is a compromise by design. You are getting a means of transportation, unless you'd rather stay on the waitlist and lose the chance of boarding the train in the first place. Passengers in RAC can potentially still get a full seat if there are any cancellations. The solution can be that IRCTC somehow track passengers who didn't get a full seat and refund part of the payment back.
KARA didn't quite work for me. The story beats are all there but they're so cliched and needlessly dragged. The movie quickly loses steam in the second half. And strangely has a very strong Idli Kadai hangover too.
Dhanush and Mamitha Baiju give their all but unfortunately performances alone don't make a film.
And for what it's worth, the audio sounded great in the Atmos theater. Could easily tell the height channels being active.

Madhuvidhu at PVR "Superplex" Inorbit.
Nice breezy movie. I think they maintain the Xenon projectors well here since I've never had a complaint. Good for watching niche films.
India has a strange blind spot when it comes to eggs. For starters, we have, against all common sense, declared it non-veg, which automatically comes attached with moral baggage, and then on top of that, even in families that eat meat, the idiotic idea that eggs are “heating” (taseer) reduces its daily/weekly consumption.
Michael at Epiq LUXON!
I went with very low expectations, reading all the reviews, but I quite enjoyed the movie 👍. Even if the sequel may or not come, this was a very genuine and heartfelt portrayal of MJ's rise and the fallout with his father. Had my foot tapping for all the musical pieces and even teared up in a few moments. The performance by the cast was fantastic. Especially the boy who played Michael as a kid.
The experience at LUXON was of course brilliant. Played in flat ratio and superb atmos, very few theaters can beat this screen.
