I dislike the fact that I know how to argue.

I may not be right, but I can defend my position, any position and be perceived to win the argument.

Coming to the end of your PhD program naturally prepares you for this. Sometimes I feel it’s unfair when I obliterate folks in an argument whether in person or on WhatsApp. I was trained for this, most times they aren’t. So it feels like I’m abusing my ‘powers’.

No, this has nothing to do with feeling intellectually superior. I do not. I see it as fun, lay a trap, set a bait and then they crumble. I need to stop!!
