As someone who lived in America which is one of the most functional democracy in the world. One would have thought it should have influenced your perspective of politics and nation building. But al it looks like , a crocodile never changes its skin, even if you keep it in the desert for 20yrs
Atiku or Dumebi, which one is the authentic ADC candidate? Well, Amaechi just affirmed what we’ve been saying: Atiku is unelectable, and putting him forward as the party’s candidate is as good as losing before the election even starts. Nigerians know a Dubai-seasonal man means no good for our country.

In his presentation, the State Coordinator, Dr. Ben Smith, introduced members of the delegation to the State Chairman. The delegation included Mrs. Naomi Essien, South-South Regional Advisory of the Obidient Movement; Promise Mbakara, Director of Mobilization of the Movement; Kingsley Okposin, Director of Media/Communication; Pius Ebong, South-South Coordinator of CSF; Kufre Bassey, Candidate for the State House of Assembly, Etinan Constituency; Comrade Nsong Urua Etim; Uwem Okodi-Yah, Coordinator of Ikot Ekpene; Engr. Samuel Duff, Coordinator of Nsit Ibom LGA; the Chapter Woman Leader of Ikono LGA; Uwem Okodi-yah the coordinator of Ikot Ekpene and other members and stakeholders of the Obidient Movement Akwa Ibom State.
In his opening remarks, the State Coordinator and South-South Zonal Officer of the party, Dr. Ben Smith, presented a cross-section of members from the delegation and briefed the State Chairman on some of the activities of the Movement, including the ongoing PVC drive and voter registration exercise, which he highlighted had been spearheaded by the Director of Mobilization and the State Woman Leader of the Movement.
While speaking, the State Coordinator made it known to the State Chairman that Obidients are known for selfless service, as these activities are being carried out through personal sacrifices, funding, and efforts by individual members. He further stated that there are no other people more qualified to work with the party at all levels of its structure, from the State down to the Unit level, as Obidients are tested and trusted with measurable results. Rather than taking from politicians, they support credible candidates with their own resources and time, unlike the usual practice of politics driven by financial inducement.
Mrs. Naomi Essien, the South-South Regional Advisory of the Movement, thanked the State Chairman for all the work he has been doing and for granting the Movement audience. She expressed her joy and confidence that the Chairman would do what is right by ensuring that Obidients are given a level playing field within the party and its activities.
The Director of Media/Communication, Kingsley Okposin, while speaking, made it known to the State Chairman that Obidients are not desperate to occupy political offices but are committed to seeing a working country. He stated that this is one of the reasons why Obidients do not appear to push aggressively for offices, but that such an attitude should not be taken for granted. He concluded by thanking the Chairman for being a statesman who has consistently assured him that there is a place for Obidients in the party. He also affirmed that the Chairman has always demonstrated readiness to work with and include Obidients within the party structure.
The South-South Coordinator of CSF, while speaking, appreciated the Chairman for his efforts and also made it known that support groups are nationally rooted structures. He urged the Chairman to use his wisdom and leadership to foster inclusion in the formation of the party structure.
The Director of Mobilization, Promise Mbakara, informed the State Chairman of the activities of the Directorate of Mobilization, which have primarily involved mobilizing voters from different locations to INEC offices for PVC registration exercises. He further noted that if the party is properly structured, some of these activities could be co-sponsored and handled by more capable hands, as resources are needed to support the operation, particularly in the areas of mobility and logistics.
@ADCNig Unfortunately, ADC can not win Ameachi Rivers state, even when he's on the ticket. What he did for Rivers state as Minister will sell or demarket him. No one single project credited to him during his tenure as Minister, so a very big minus to ADC.
@ParallelFacts And thousands of his constituents are without jobs. Upon all he's gotten from the government, he's not satisfied. What manner of greediness.
