Team that finished 10th and have spent over 2bn since their takeover, have a bid accepted for a player from the team that finished 4th and qualified for the champions league. The team that finished 4th has to sell to buy. What's the point of the PL.
Chelsea are a brilliant control experiment for how many things a supposedly elite club can get wrong, how much money you can waste and how far you can fall from grace in combination and still have high level players wanting to join.
@snagglepuss147 Yeah, unless the owners have plans to build the infrastructure for the future to build revenue. Newcastle owners have gotten cold feet on that front and therefore aren’t able to generate more revenue.
It was fun while it lasted. At least we ended the trophy drought and had some Champ League games in between. Can’t see us getting back to challenging the Super 6 any time soon.
If you read the details of Newcastle’s UEFA settlement it looks like they are going to have to sell to buy moving forward. Every summer probably for the foreseeable. That explains what has happened this year and what the strategy will be moving forward. Handcuffed #nufc
@FabrizioRomano Fabrizio, stop peddling nonsense. You’re a respected journalist. PFC CSKA have never offered any player €5m net a year. Talks with Boca ended in February: no deal, no personal offer. We’re not targeting wingers this window. Stop using our name to drive deals or inflate demands.
@GianfrancoShoIa Rather than saying “the club would rather it didn’t come out” why can’t journalists outline their sources if it’s not coming from the club? Better yet, why can’t clubs come out and state that if its agents feeding this info to journalists. I don’t understand the lay of the land.
@MichaelWhy27402@ballsdotie You’ll see it was deleted for a reason. I’m not arguing that they weren’t in the SQUARE. Im saying from this video, you can’t see that.
