My favorite strategy to find UGC clients will always be posting. This allows me to practice my creativity and skills everyday while allowing the brands to come to me.
If you’re posting and not seeing results, take this as a sign to work on your skills (filming, editing, natural voice, ability to sell, etc.)
@UgcAng Posting your work will help you attract potential clients and also help you to improve your skills as a content creator in editing and filming overall you'll make better videos over the time
@UgcAng OK, OK you called me out. I must post. 🤭🫣😂 thanks for the dear sweet reminder. I’m getting a good amount of deals, but I could be a bit pickier if I decided to post. Piano-ing my fingers using my superhero laugh ha ha..😆
Best ways to receive PR?
1. Skeepers: Some of the offers require you to post, but some are just PR.
2. Dont be afraid to ask the brand. If they say yes, definitely share the product on social, even if it’s just a story.
3. Focus on growing your socials. You’ll have brands come to you directly to send you PR.
The best time to pitch a brand? During a new product launch! Brands allocate significant resources to ensure success, making it the perfect time to offer your support through a content partnership.
Do you need to create separate social accounts for UGC?
If your current account’s professional and you’re willing to share ‘brand’ content on that page, then I suggest transitioning it. However, if you feel more comfortable, start a fresh account.
BIGGEST tip? Don’t let the opinions of others stop you from making $
@KGocoul So many companies offer UGC partnerships now. These are generally for a lower fee. If a company reaches out to you for an influencer collab you can always offer UGC instead if you don't want to post on your own socials.
There is a BIG difference between creating content and monetizing it.
One is a hobby, the other is a business.
As a businesswoman at heart, I never anticipated becoming a full-time content creator, but here I am, and I’ve never felt more happy, fulfilled, and abundant.
If this is your goal, I’m here to answer your questions. I want to see you succeed 🤍
How to nurture your relationships with brands (and ultimately make more money.
1. Organically post their products and tag
2. Engage on socials
3. Check-in with them and offer content ideas
4. Ask for refills (specifically if you post the brand often)
Authentic interaction will show you’re a true brand supporter and you’ll be top of mind when it comes time to hire creators.
@UgcAng You’ll never have a perfect plan to make things happen you’ll start doing the work and you might make mistakes and you learn through the process and achieve your dreams if you show up every single day
