I heard someone say; "I stopped trusting his words he speaks, and yet he influenced my life choices, where I got stuck and felt missled for a long time. I have since re-focused, and I will not subject my time to distraction and diversionary culculated propaganda."
Kenyan government summons Ugandan ambassador after former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s humiliation in Uganda
There was a protocol breach during the swearing-in ceremony of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni when former President Uhuru Kenyatta was left stranded for over five minutes without a vehicle to take him away. He was forced to stand and chat with orderlies and passing dignitaries while he waited.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated in and respected the NRM Party primaries. 🙏
The Party Election Disputes Tribunal has now delivered its verdict, dismissing the petition and upholding Jacqueline’s victory as the party flag bearer for the MP seat for Older Persons (Western Region).
This process has been an important in-house cleanup, and I commend all parties for allowing it to run its course.
Now is the time to close ranks, heal any divisions, and move forward together as one united party as we prepare for the forthcoming general elections.
Together, we are stronger. ✊ #NRM #Unity
@Ugandapolice1@igp_ug1@nemaug thank you for the public order and all you are doing, however there is an open loud disco is giving trouble here in Naguru china-Uganda friendship hospital. We are concerned, it has started too early too loud. Patients may not endure easily.
When your father @KagutaMuseveni first met Queen Elizabeth, he thanked her for enabling the spread of the English language all over the world. We can remember you for doing the same for the Swahili Language on the African continent. DM me & I show u how to make "yourstory".
Please, @PoliceUg, the noise from Lugogo open grounds is affecting many patients here at the china Uganda friendship hospital. We have an agreement of such noise not going past 10pm. @igp_ug1

We have a lot of coffee from the DRC and Northern Western TZ in addition to the coffee from the SWestern region. Elgon and Central regions coffee has eased access to the port of Mombasa because returning empty trucks and containers make it cheaper to evacuate.

@HEBobiwine@NUP_Ug It’s always interesting how the same script is replayed every year, meetings, fiery speeches, and hashtags. One would hope that by now, the focus would shift to real, tangible change beyond just mobilizing emotions.
I like this news, I dont know why? @AfricanDreamMvt@jmugishakaika. Thank you my role modal @AlikoDangote Is it the love I have for Africa? Dangote gets a piece of Kenya market with Java House deal https://t.co/iUwmZLB4Rs
Uganda is at that dangerous point where nothing shocks the population anymore. We are like an abused married woman who has seen it all but with nowhere to run to. Even when her husband returns late in the night very drunk and vomits in the fridge, she just looks on now.
Things that would normally have angered us now pass one after the other as we simply shake our heads and move on. The abusers interpret this to mean licence to them to even do worse. Every abuse we take in simply emboldens them to abuse us some more - like that old school teacher that would cane you and again cane you for not crying. They steal, we look on. They steal even more. They let hospitals rot, we watch on. They let more to rot.
They directly threaten to kill (behead, hang) leaders, and it only attracts coiling and hashed whispers. They kidnap our people, we look on, or even blame each other for it. They kidnap and randomly incarcerate more through military courts, we shake our heads and move on. To them, we are subdued and incapable of any resistance. We are like cows in a kraal. Take one and slaughter it, the others simply go on eating - hoping that they would survive by minding their eating business.
It is a dangerous stage in the growth of desperation, because at this level anything goes. But also, with all civil outlets closed, an explosion is always immanent in an angry population that goes silent. You can never tell what they’re thinking or planning. It is a sort of bang that no institution can ever be ready for. Undesirable, but rendered inevitable everyday. Impunity and disregard are its parents. Arrogance is its midwife. Violence is its grandfather.
