@ItsJamesHall@RickyDPR Yes, we need to normalise £100k being a lower salary and try to get more people earning more. That’s healthier for everyone and the economy .
@newstart_2024 One of the biggest motivators for parents to work is to pass down wealth and earnings to their children, take that away and it’s a huge incentive change for parents. Surprised how Rory doesn’t get this.
@henrywinter Saved tuchels job ? He’s going to quit next year anyways . This is what’s going to happen with all the club coaches leading countries now - tuchel, ancelotti etc
@EcoAstronomer@JohnCleese I am trying to engage here - but I don’t understand the problem as you see it , the goal and potential solutions. Can you explain further?
@EcoAstronomer@JohnCleese I find this article shocking - why would you not focus on children’s education till 18. We need to stop this apprenticeship talk till 18, let kids focus on learning. Middle class families are unapologetically focussed on education, these kids don’t have parents who serve them
@EcoAstronomer@JohnCleese Maybe it’s an issue with the achievement levels in this groups - there is no bias, there is likely an achievement gap. Biggest factor in children’s achievement is parents and the home environment, not schools. The state can’t solve everything
@ryancarson Hey Ryan - building a dashboard is super specific, the agent has to have to context into what each data column means exactly and I would imagine the prompt also need to be super precise. Just think of the number of dates and times stored. Is this your experience too ?
@SDP76842783@Ebure1971@EducationNotTax@annaturley Question for me is this - we’re only talking about money not raising the standards of public schools . Parents send their children to private schools for the superior education, not just privilege. If you close the gap, parents will automatically make the move to public.
@HarveyDiamonds He’s no longer elite - play doesn’t go through him as much as his capacity to change changes games is much lower. Elite is his position is salah or olise
@Cox_A_R This is the solution , but not a single labour MP has even mentioned this . They can’t becuase they’re beholden to the teachers unions and will refuse to take the hard calls to make schools better.
@CPATaxTeam They’ve had the longest to invest - this should be true of any generation, if you are the pensions. Only thing skewing it is the billionaires coming out now .
@aedmans Spot on Alex . The aim should be to get as many children educated in the best possible way at the lowest cost, if that is the goal the VAT comes out. Surprising as to how no Labour MP is talking about closing the educational gap between state and independent at scale. Nuts.
@themagic_tophat What are you talking about we need a right sided am for sure - and Bruno can play that role . Declan’s needs a long break , maybe 4-6 weeks after the World Cup
@doktor_val What else would you do ? 6% deficit is producing 0.5% growth? This is unsustainable and we need to cancel handout and invest in real growth and real capex. Uk raised 80B in taxes, most of that went in wages.
@nonewthing Gyok has been improving through the course of the year, can see him being a 20 goal a season striker and improvement his hold up play and brining wingers into attack . I am on the fence about him now, now sure Alvarez is 20 goal a season. If Alvarez, need an amazing winger
