I am saddened to report, Joe Rossi has passed. After a brief battle with cancer, Georgia lost one of its most determined election-integrity researchers — a retired executive from Houston County who asked for nothing except that the numbers add up.

Joe was not a politician. He was a citizen who sat down with ballot images, audit tally sheets, and public records and did the work himself. With attorney Jack James, he documented many inconsistencies in Fulton County’s 2020 risk-limiting audit.

@GovKemp met with Joe and his office independently repeated that research, confirmed the discrepancies, and referred the matter to the State Election Board. Joe also worked with @MonclaKevin, @jeffmfulgham and Phillip Davis @mad_liberals on further findings: missing ballot images, ballots with no identifiable source tabulator, and double-scanned records.

He took slings and arrows for that work. He kept going anyway.

That is the kind of man he was — impeccable in his integrity, stubborn in his duty, and unwilling to look away from records that did not reconcile.

NEW: RFK Jr. says Medicare spending on wound care patches exploded from $200 million in 2019 to $14 billion last year: "It's all stolen."

Bad actors billed Medicare billions by slapping the most expensive skin grafts on elderly and dying patients who didn't need them.

"The doctors who prescribed them would get 6% of the sales cost. And so, they were incentivized to prescribe more expensive products. In Europe, they spend 35 cents a cubic inch. We were spending $135, and that went up to $2,000 a cubic inch."

"So 2019, we were paying $200 million. Last year we spent 14 billion. All stolen. It's all stolen. And we were on track to spend 23 billion this year."

"We put an end to it, and we now have driven that cost down to somewhere around a billion dollars."

In one Arizona case, the owners of two wound care companies pleaded guilty to more than $1.2 billion in fraudulent claims. Medicare paid over $1 million per patient for grafts slapped on elderly patients who didn't need them, many of them dying in hospice.

In June, DOJ charged 11 more defendants over more than $2 billion in allograft claims, including a company accused of issuing sham invoices to inflate what Medicare paid.

It feels like every week I learn a new way people were ripping off taxpayers for billions.

In 2005, Oneida shut the flatware factory in Sherrill, New York.

A town that had made silverware for MORE THAN 100 YEARS was supposed to be finished.

Two men refused to let that happen.

Their names are Matt Roberts and Greg Owens.

Roberts had managed that factory. Owens was another former Oneida manufacturing manager. When the company ended U.S. production, they bought the plant and the equipment and reopened it the NEXT DAY as Sherrill Manufacturing.

They did not have a giant rescue fund.
They did not have a Hollywood ending waiting.
They had a building, some machines, and a workforce that knew how to make forks, knives, and spoons.

At first they kept making product for Oneida.

Then Oneida pulled the remaining American work and sent it overseas.

That should have been the end.

It wasn’t.

They took government flatware contracts to keep the lights on. In 2010 they filed Chapter 11. They sold unused equipment. They sold space they could no longer fill. They leased back only the part of the factory they could still run.

They came out of bankruptcy in 2013.

Then they did the thing that saved the company.

They built their own brand: Liberty Tabletop.

They sold 18/10 stainless flatware straight to customers who wanted tableware MADE IN THE UNITED STATES.

Not through a department store that could drop them overnight.
Direct.

Today Liberty Tabletop is the only company still manufacturing stainless steel flatware in America.

Same town.
Same trade.
U.S. steel.
About 70 jobs.

They did not bring back 2,000 workers. Nobody did.

What they saved was the last line.

If you want American-made forks and spoons, this is the factory that still makes them.
