1. ప్రేమ అయినా, పెళ్లి అయినా తోడు కోసం. ఆస్తులు, అంతస్తులు అన్నీ సెకండరీ.

2. రిలేషన్షిప్పు లో పరస్పర గౌరవం (మ్యూచువల్ రెస్పెక్ట్) నమ్మకం (ట్రస్ట్) ముఖ్యం. ఇవి లేనిది బంధమే కాదు.

3. కాన్ఫ్లిక్ట్స్ (పొరపచ్చాలు) అనేవి రిలేషన్షిప్పులో భాగం. అవి లేని బంధం కోరుకోవడం అవివేకం.

4. సెక్సువల్ కంపాటిబిలిటీ, పిల్లలు గురించి ముందే మాట్లాడుకోవాలి.

5. రిలేషన్షిప్పు ఎంత పాతదైనా ఎఫర్ట్ మాత్రం ముఖ్యం. ఒకరికొకరు ఇషమైనవి చెయ్యటానికి, ప్రోత్సహించడానికి, సహాయపడటానికి వెనకాడకూడదు.

6. విడిపోయిన వాళ్ళు, విడాకులు తీసుకున్నవాళ్ళు, వైధవ్యం పొందినవాళ్ళు అందరూ ఇంకో ప్రేమకి అర్హులే. ప్రేమ అనేది వసంతం లాంటిది, మళ్లీ మళ్లీ చిగురిస్తుంది.

8. మోహం (ప్యాషన్), చేరిక(ఇంటిమసీ), కట్టుబాటు (కమిట్మెంట్) మూడూ ఉండాలి బంధంలో.మోహం లేనిది స్నేహం అవుతుంది, చేరిక లేనిది చిల్లర ప్రేమ అవుతుంది, కట్టుబాటు లేనిది శృంగారం దగ్గర ఆగిపోతుంది.

9. రిలేషన్షిప్పులో హింసకి తావులేదు. సేఫ్టీ చాలా చాలా ముఖ్యం. ఒకసారి ఉపేక్షిస్తే మళ్లీ మళ్లీ జరుగుతుంది అదే హింస, ఇక ఆ తర్వాత అందులో ట్రాప్ అయిపోయి బయటకు రాలేరు.

10. రిలేషన్షిప్పులో ఇద్దరు వ్యక్తులున్నా, బయటి సమాజానికి ఒక జంటగానే ఉండాలి.
