Nice write-up Teena ji. It would surely reduce China dependency. Clavulanic acid is widely used by Tablet and dry Syrup Manufacturers of India.

PLI has enabled Pencilling G and Clavulanic Acid to be manufactured in India . India stopped producing the two input drugs three decades ago and was totally dependent on China for their supplies. This is a major breakthrough in domestic manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients . Will greatly reduce dependency on China for raw materials.
