1. The horrific incident of #nishtarhospital isn't just a disaster happening overnight. It's a general disregard and apathy for the "deads" that we all medical students see daily. Culprits are the anatomy dept.s that don't let the students touch

3. I happened to get a chance to enter the mortuary and the scenes inside it were horrific. Med clgs have more specimens that they can even handle. Freezers were brimming with bodies, one above the other. The formalin tanks are out of space for more specimens

A mother of 6 expired today in our ward. She had 6 daughters. Delivered the last girl, 2 days ago. I had seen all her daughters, the eldest one was not more than 12. She had Rheumatic Heart Disease. They came to know about it when she delivered the first baby.
