Had a whole week-long workshop on HiFi Long-Read data analysis in perspective of Eukaryotic Genome assembly.
Just realised that I only knew the tip of the genome assembly ice-berg. That was a lot in the depths. Excited to apply all that to my FUNGUS genomes now.

@lpdahito Python is the easiest as human readable.
R is kind of hard at start but once the pattern is understood, it's also manageable.
For me, the worst one was the C-LISP. It was a nightmare.

@LonsBio Once checking RNA-Seq data, realized that a sample had some over-expressed fragments.
Tried blast searching and found out that sample was composed of more rRNA then actual expression of gene.
Ended up with re-sequencing of that sample.
