Hello @NMC_BHARAT,
As discussed with the officials at NMC regarding the issues in the FMGL‑21 regulation and its improper implementation within the same batch of 2021 (session 2021–22),
• Several State Medical Councils are not following the NMC notice dated 18 March 2026.
• FMGs in Delhi are facing issues related to PSM posting.
• The 3‑year internship should reduce to 2 years maximum.
We request you to kindly resolve these issues at the earliest, as they are creating significant hurdles for thousands of FMGs across India and abroad.
Hoping for prompt action,
@NMC_BHARAT
Same session, yet two different rules. In 2021 @NMC_IND changed old “Screening Test Regulations, 2002” to “FMGL-2021 Regulations” making a “12-Months” internship at the same Foreign University compulsory. 🧵 @aimsa_fmsw

Deeply concerned about the plight of Indian students pursuing MBBS abroad (2021–22 batch) affected by #FMGL2021 regulations.
Same academic session, yet unequal treatment—January intake forced into an extra year.
Requesting urgent intervention for a one-time relaxation to ensure fairness.

were able to begin earlier.
This has resulted in unequal application of the FMGL-21 regulation within the same batch of students.
*According to The FMGL-2021 Gazette dated 18.11.2021
If the Gov. of India or NMC wants, it can exempt FMG students in special cases
as mentioned in
Resp. @NMC_BHARAT..
As discussed in our previous meeting on 17-3-26 regarding the one-time exemption of the FMGL-21 regulation, many students faced delays in reaching their respective countries of admission due to COVID-19 and delay in NeetUG 2021, while some from the same batch
Doctors (FMGs)who studied during the pandemic adapted to unprecedented circumstances.
They followed @NMC_BHARAT policies ,compensated for online mode of education, did final year offline and cleared FMGE.
Rewriting policies after the fact undermines fairness and trust in the system.
@official_aimsa demands fair and consistent policies for foreign medical graduates across the nation.

@drvkbhu Dr. Vijendra Sir Please aap aisa mat kigiye students ke saath sir...
Dr Vanikar Mam... See her how she is smiling on fmg students who are protesting in this heat ☀️ .
Means she has no regrets what she did.
Despite FMGs cleared one of the tough medical exam ‘FMGE’ with doing one year of internship which proves their ability, knowledge & skills!
@NMC_IND has published notice regarding the 2 & 3 years clerkship plus internship.
