For me personally, the reason I have a sour taste in my mouth is that she was framed as a brand-new VTuber at 2 months when in reality she’d already been using the actual model for about 6 months. She also claimed she didn’t know how to use the mouth parameters, yet there are clips of her months ago looking pretty fluid when speaking with the model (I’ll link the post below).

Because of the viral post claiming she was super new and replying like she didn’t know how to use mouth parameters, it caused backlash against the 2D artist for “bad mouth tracking” and made people think they charged $27k for a bad rig. That’s the issue I have with it.

From a marketing perspective, it was genius. It got a ton of free press. I get that she’s only been a 2D VTuber for about 6 months, but she also has roughly 2 years of experience as a VRChat streamer. I just wanted to give a different take other than the usual “It’s their money, they can spend it however they want.”

Vtuber tip of the day!

Many Vtubers dont know this secret technique, but dont underestimate the ability of knowing when to shut the fuck up !!!

Not every thought needs to be written out loud!

1. You can ruin future brand deals for you.
You are mad someone "undeserving" got a brand deal? Is it something actually serious? (Like a predator, felon etc? voice it sure.) is it simply someone you dont like? SHUT THE FUCK UP!!! Brands will take note and you will get blocked from future opportunities.

2. Viral controversies?
Is it something actually serious? (someone is a predator, murderer etc, there are actual victims involved? no? then SHUT THE FUCK UP)

3. You disagree with someone? Cool. SHUT THE FUCK UP. Talk to your friends in private, dont shit on others publicly, nobody likes mean girls. Your twitter likes feel good in the moment but the consequences this will have stay for a long time if not forever.

4. Drama? Are you involved directly? no?
SHUT THE FUCK UP. Nobody cares about your opinion, keep it to yourself/close friends only. Chasing those twitter likes wont do you any good, the fame is temporary, the impression you leave lasts longer.

5. Have a controversial opinion?
SHUT THE FUCK UP. Is it really important to voice it out loud, even though you know it will piss people off? If that is your goal and you want to be known as a grifter, sure go for it but opportunities will close rapidly with such behavior.

6. If you are not an already established content creator, this counts double: SHUT THE FUCK UPPPPPPPPP. Nobody wants the reputation as a Vtweeter and I assure you this is not how you gather support and attention.

In short: Learn when to shut the fuck up, learn when it is important to speak out, learn when something does not require your input.

This counts not only for tweets and qrts, but also for comments. The amount of times I want to unfollow people I am mutuals with, who CONSTANTLY comment or get into drama... Its exhausting.

If this is your goal as a vtuber, to comment and react on viral stuff, make it your content aka videos. If thats not your plan and you want to do content and DONT want to defined by your involvement in drama: SHUT THE FUCK UP. I assure you life is so much easier online if you just stay in your line.

I am not telling you to not have opinions, but I am begging you to think about the consequences involvement brings and also HOW much you do it matters too. If you comment once in a while, its whatever. If you CONSTANTLY comment on every viral thing despite having 0 involvement then you are just ruining future prospects of people who want to work with you, brand AND other creators.

I have plenty of opinions, but I keep them either to myself, or share them with ONE person in DMs aka my best friend.

And because this is twitter, here is my obligatory dont misunderstand my words disclaimer: I AM NOT TELLING U TO BADMOUTH AND SHITTALK PEOPLE BEHIND PRIVATE DOORS. Dont be a mean girl in public OR behind closed doors, dont be a dick. Dont gossip. Thats not what I told you to do with this.

If you want to gossip, this can and will backfire. People will see you as a backstabbing bitch who cant keep their mouth shut/cant keep secrets. You dont want to have the reputation of someone who is two-faced.

We all have opinions, we all think something can be absolute dumb stuff, but its a matter of how we react to these things, and you shouldnt get heated over internet bullshit you have nothing to do with.

Rule of thumb: Before you comment on everything think about the following.
1. Does it involve you?
2. Is this ACTUALLY serious stuff? (aka does it have REAL HUMAN victims)
3. Will this affect your life in any significant way?
4. How relevant will this be in a week or two?

If the answers are; no, no, no and irrelevant:
SHUT.THE.FUCK.UP.

So, it came to light that my model was made using AI.
Artist friend was looking at my PSD for upgrades but theres just, so many errors that a human just WOULDNT make.
Looked at an AI detector. 88% confident. All my other model siblings? 90% or HIGHER.
I am sadly retiring my main model.
Thankfully, I own my design, I MADE my design, and a friend reached out and is already working on a model for me.
VGen is aware. I'm just upset, and so so frustrated that someone took my vision then SOLD me AI for a lot of money.
Thank you for supporting me. All the AI emotes will also be removed, the donothon that is happening soon will now be including new streaming assets.
