@nhlupdate Would also love to see them add a true scorer but those two while they aren’t known for goal scoring they do create offense so maybe it will lead to more goals that way.

@jackrichrdson Sens were 9th in goals scored in the NHL last season. And Brady only had 22g in 60gms - scoring at his lowest g/gm rate in 5 seasons.

Skill and speed focus can make them a top 5 offense.

@alexadamsBTP_ The biggest concern once again will be goaltending. Staois did something to address it but also took a pretty big gamble on choosing Ersson.

Can Ullmark hold up? Can Ersson be a better than avg backup? Can Leevi ascend as an NHL goalie?

@alexadamsBTP_ Great read Alex. Sens offense should be fine. We were 9th in the NHL in GF with Brady only scoring 22g/60gms his lowest g/gm in five seasons.

We might actually be better with a faster group injecting more skill with Eklund/Burakovsky/Yak.

@EverydaySens Absolutely hurts but Sens can benefit from hiring a more experienced assistant coach. Alfie obviously was a legacy hire and it was great to have him around but green as a coach.

@EverydaySens The roster is just fine. Brady is one guy and hockey is more team sport than any other sport. My concern is how this team reacts and adjusts and if players step up to a very negative offseason with Brady, G and Alfie disrupting things.

@EverydaySens No Brady is a huge change. We will have to wait and see if ends up being good or bad. This offseason wasn’t supposed to be this rocky and we really don’t know how they’re going to react.
